Aboout CIT
Since its establishment in 1985, the Chinese Institute of Transportation (CIT) has endeavored to foster academic activities in transportation system planning, design, operation and management and to assist governments and operators in developing more efficient transportation systems as well as in providing better quality transportation services, via a forum for exchanging professional knowledge and experience. The four main functions of CIT are to organize an annual meeting and international conference, to periodically publish a highly renowned journal titled “TRANSPORTATION” (in Chinese), to provide the professional advises to government transportation policies, and to share experiences and enjoy friendship among our members. Currently, CIT has a total of 1,727 individual members and 51 group members, making CIT society the most “established organization with the most premium group of experts” on transportation in Taiwan.
